Sept 2010, Arts Council England South West confirms further funding for Slow Art Residency. The Eden Survey project is accepted by the Eden project. Sept 2010, Working with 'Live project' architectural students to develop proposal for accommodation at Eden Project. 20 Aug - 2 Oct 2010, U-N-F-O-L-D exhibition at Kings Place Gallery, London, UK. 2 June 2010, Nick leads "An Expedition to the mouth of the Eden Leat" in search of the final outflow of water from the Eden Project, Cornwall, UK. 18 May - 8 June 2010, "Expedition to the source of the Dollis Brook, in search of the consequences of the ideas of the Sublime and the Beautiful" appears in the U-N-F-O-L-D exhibition at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, Austria. 28 - 30 January 2010, "A portrait of a Manchester Poplar" will be projected on the exterior of The Quenn Elizabeth Hall, as part of the Shft festival. Saturday 30 January 2010, Spirit Level, Royal Festival Hall. On 13th Nov 2009 “A portrait of a Manchester Poplar” opens at 36 Bedford Row. On October 30th 2009, Wimbledon College of Art. 10 July 2009 “A portrait of a Manchester Poplar” opens at Manchester Royal Infirmary. A video piece permanently installed in the antenatal clinic, and commissioned by Central Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. 15 May 2009 Nick leads a small party from the Welsh Harp reservoir on an expedition to the source of the Dollis Brook. May 2009 Slow Art Residency, Eden Project. In 2007, Nick was part of a Cape Farewell group of artists, invited by Peter Hampel, Creative Director at Eden, to help imagine how the Eden environment could be brought to life in new, art led and climate focused ways.The collaboration is part funded by Arts Council England South West. This funding has made possible the Slow Art Programme, a quietly revolutionary series of research and development residencies. |
