18 May - 8 June 2010, "Expedition to the source of the Dollis Brook, in search of the consequences of the ideas of the Sublime and the Beautiful" appears in the U-N-F-O-L-D exhibition at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, Austria.

28 - 30 January 2010, "A portrait of a Manchester Poplar" will be projected on the exterior of The Quenn Elizabeth Hall, as part of the Shft festival.

Led by Nick Edwards, Professor Chris Wainwright, Head of Colleges, Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon and the Graduate School students from CCW.
Three walks, one starting out from each of the colleges and converging at Southbank Centre. Each walk will follow the route of a previous urban expedition lead by Nick Edwards. Re-laid on the London map, the route will take participants into areas of London rarely visited on foot. Students will share their findings with the public in the Spirit Level of the Royal Festival Hall, 4pm Saturday 30 January.

On October 30th 2009, Wimbledon College of Art.
Nick Edwards presents the Dollis Brook expedition, an exploration of his local habitat. Inspired by the Cape Farewell research expeditions to the High Arctic and the Andes, Nick and fellow explorers play with the idea that global and the local are one. Their presentation pools experiences from the Dollis Brook expedition, the 2004 expedition to Svalbard, and the 2009 expedition to the Andes in Peru.

10 July 2009 “A portrait of a Manchester Poplar” opens at Manchester Royal Infirmary. A video piece permanently installed in the antenatal clinic, and commissioned by Central Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

15 May 2009 Nick leads a small party from the Welsh Harp reservoir on an expedition to the source of the Dollis Brook.

May 2009 Slow Art Residency, Eden Project. In 2007, Nick was part of a Cape Farewell group of artists, invited by Peter Hampel, Creative Director at Eden, to help imagine how the Eden environment could be brought to life in new, art led and climate focused ways.The collaboration is part funded by Arts Council England South West. This funding has made possible the Slow Art Programme, a quietly revolutionary series of research and development residencies.
